Pet Sitting Policies and conditions
1. Visits duration and Time Schedule
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training has a 30 Minute booking per visit, this means that should you book two visits a day the duration for the entire day spent with your pet will be 1 hour. This is not per pet but per pet sitting client.
The 30 minutes starts the moment the pet sitter enters the property and ends the moment the pet sitter leaves the property. Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training cannot schedule specific visit times on specific dates, therefor a 2-3H waiting window will be applicable. Schedule appointments will be honoured but cannot always be guaranteed.
Client information
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training will require personal information with regards to any pets and the house. The information will be completed by the owner/Client prior to any booking confirmation. All documents must be signed and kept up to date by the client/owner. All client’s information will be kept private and the POPI Act will apply.
New client meetings
All pet sitting clients are entitled to a free pet sitting session this is limited to 30 minutes and only applicable to owners/clients who have not used our services yet. Should the owner/handler not be able to book an appointment for the free session 48h prior to their booking dates, there will be a surcharge applicable. The Surcharge will be depended on the time frame the booking has been made. Should Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training have done the first meeting and the client cancels, there will be a cancelation fee applicable.
Schedule pet sitting services
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and training will not schedule any booking if no payment has been received. Confirmation will be sent out to all clients/owners, and it is the clients/owner’s responsibility to ensure they received a booking confirmation. Should they not get a booking conformation the client/owner is responsible in contacting Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training to confirm. Cancelation
Pawsitively Pet sitting and training will charge for cancelation under the following policy:
24 H prior to the booking dates – 100% of amount charged to client/owner
48H prior to the booking dates – 50% Of amount charged to client/owner
Any cancelations prior to the above mentioned who have paid in full will receive a voucher to use for any of our services (Dog Training and or Pet Sitting)
The cancelation includes any appointments scheduled. The client/owner is responsible for making sure that Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training received the cancelation via email info@pawsitivelypet.co.za or WhatsApp 083 308 2038.
Payments
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training will not keep any bookings without payment received. The following will be applicable:
Bookings made 1 month prior to starting date 100% payment upfront
Bookings made 2 months prior to first booking date 50% deposit
Any other bookings made earlier will also have a 50% deposit applicable.
Full payment must be made prior to the first booking date. No bookings will be confirmed without full payment received.
It is the client/owner’s responsibility to ensure that Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training received proof of payment via email info@pawsitivelypet.co.za or WhatsApp 083 308 2038.
Household emergencies
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training and their staff, will not be held reliable for any los or damage to any property injuries or death. The completed forms will have emergency contact information on, and Pawsitively Pet sitting and Training will contact the listed should there be an emergency.
Medication, vaccination, immunization
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training will have the right to refuse any pet sitting if the pet has a contagious disease. Pawsitively Pet sitting and training will have the right to ask the client/owner for proof of inoculation and deworming and that it is kept up to date.
Injury’s
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training and their staff, will not be held responsible for any injuries occurred during their pet sitting services. The client/owners have the responsibility to inform Pawsitively Pet sitting and training of any injuries, bite hazards or any social hazard. The client/owner will be held responsible for any injury caused due to a bite hazard or any other safety risk.
Refund policy
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training will not refund any pet sitting or dog training client. Should there be a cancelation within 48H the amount paid will be kept for future pet sitting or, dog training services.
Future pet Sitting payments (No refund Policy)
Pawsitively pet sitting and Training can decline any request for bookings request, should Pawsitively pet sitting, and training be fully booked for the specific dates, or should the booking be on short notice.
Weather permitting.
Some Pet sitting requirements are weather permitting, therefor should it rain dog walking and or any outside activity where there are no roofs etc, will not take place on the specific raining days.
Pet Waste
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training will clean up pet waste should the client/owner ask for this service, however it is the client/Owner’s responsibility to ensure that there are waste bags and or any other equipment that is need available to use for Pawsitively Pet Sitting and their staff.
Collars, harness, and leashes
The client/owner has the responsibility to ensure that their pets have collars/ harness or leashes that fit perfectly. Pawsitively Pet sitting and training will not be held reliable should the pet escape from any of this training equipment. Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training has the right to refuse to use any harmful tools like, Shock collars, prong collars and more.
Fences
It is the client/owner’s responsibility to ensure that the environment their pets are left in are secured and that their pets can not escape, it is also the client/owner’s responsibility to ensure that there are not harmful objects in the environment that the pet can consume. Pawsitively pet Sitting, and training will not be held responsible for pets escaping their environment. This includes when visits happen and or when the pet sitter is not there.
16.Cleaning inside of the house
Pawsitively Pet sitting and training will clean up after your pet if the client/owner has shown them where all the necessary equipment is. Pawsitively Pet Sitting and training will not be held reliable for any furniture chewing or damage to the client/owner’s house during pet sitting visits.
Photos and videos of pets.
Pawsitively pet sitting, and training will have the right to post any photos or videos taken of the pets on any social media platform should the client/owner agree to this.
Rates
Pawsitively Pet Sitting and Training reserves the right to change their rates at any time.
Damage
Pawsitively Pet sitting and Training will not be held responsible for any damage done to their property by their pets.
